13 Things I've Found In My Washer or Dryer in the Last Month

Here is a list of bizarre things I found in my washer or dryer, sometimes both actually, in the last month. Some of them definitely qualifying as worse than others.

1. Blue crayon. Ouch. So much for those clothes.

2. Ramen. It's not really all that good to eat and its definitely not so good for your laundry.

3. Something tan and spongy. No idea what it was but there was a lot of it. It kind of looked like mutated cheerios but I definitely didn't feel like cheerios.

4. A credit card. Ooops.

5. Thirteen cents. At different times.

6. A fingernail clipper.

7. A dryer sheet in the washer.

8. Three dollars in one dollar bills. At different times.

9. In invit to a party we already missed. Oops.

10. Someone else's coat. Still don't know whose.

11. Shoes. That one was actually on purpose.

12. My cat. Don't worry he didn't go through a cycle or anything. Just climbed inside.

13. A screw.

In my own defense I don't always load the laundry, LOL. :)

My Mama did indeed dry one of our cats. Mama was washing and driving the bathroom blankets, very heeavy items. So when she threw them in the dryer and beating around she had no worries. But when the towels were dry. We had a bead by very FLUFFY cat. He was buried with a beautiful new coif.

Thanks for the laughs.

Eep to the blue crayon, that must have been a mess!

I was so proud when my parents gave me my SS card to hold on to -- previously it'd been kept safe in the filing cabinet.

A week later, I ran it through the wash AND dry cycles :(!

Blue crayon in the laundry is infinitely better than blue crayon in your car upholstery! The only way to get rid of it is to sell the car.

Hey everyone. Thanks for visiting. The cat and the phone didn't make it. Ouch. Upholstery crayon never does go away. There's some pink one in my daughter's car seat.
